The cricketing world was shocked when MS Dhoni announced his retirement from Test cricket after the Boxing Day Test draw against Australia in Melbourne on December 30, 2014. Ravi Shastri, the former head coach of the Indian team, recalled the moment on Sunday. Ravi Shastri said that no one in the team knew about Dhoni’s decision.

He usually comes to me and Ravi Bhai I have to talk to the boys’ said. ‘Sure’ I said. So I thought he would say something.
