Karnataka Bulldozers beat Bengal Tigers by 8 wickets in the first match of Celebrity Cricket League 2023. Earlier in the match against Karnataka Bulldozers, Bengal Warriors won the toss and elected to bat. Only 78 runs could be scored for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 10 overs. However, due to lack of time, Karnataka’s target of victory was reduced to 57 runs. With this, Karnataka Bulldozers lost only two wickets and won by scoring 57 runs in 6.5 overs.

In the first match to be held at Raipur, Bengal Tigers and Karnataka Bull Dodgers faced each other.
The first match of this month-long tournament was between the Karnataka Bulldozers led by Kichcha Sudeep and the Bengal Tigers led by Jishu at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. After achieving the first innings target, the Karnataka team took to the field and batted bravely. Team captain Kiccha Sudeep and Rajeev Hannu entered the ring as openers and started the innings. Rajeev Hannu scored 23 runs off 11 balls while Sudeep scored 15 runs off 11 balls. Karnataka team won by 8 wickets in the first innings.
